We have gone to this movie theater for years. Primarily because it was the only one in town. However, there is another theater at North Grand now so we attend both. The recliners are comfy. As with any concession stand food, it is pricey. Gone are the arcade games but in it's place is a bar. For the first time, we had to sit in the front row. Not at all comfortable to the eyes or the neck. Buy your tickets online or get there early to avoid the front rows.
This place was recently remodeled with HEATED RECLINING seats! Seats are assigned, so come early to get your favorite spot! Clean. Family friendly. Friendly staff. Plenty of parking. Marcydiner tantrum scale of 5/5-no screaming kids. Prices are average local theater prices. We've been here a dozen times or so in the last month.
Wow! I really like the updates to Movies 12. The recliner seating is very comfortable and spacious.
Ames' sole movie theater is nearly a relic, but is still standing strong! Discount days are Tuesdays and Sundays if memory serves. Good sized theaters and overpriced snacks, but relatively fair pricing for the tickets. It's where we go to support specific box office films. Does the town decent enough.
I love me a free movie! Came here on a Friday afternoon, parking was packed, food line was fast and overall cleanliness wasn't too shabby. The workers did seem more interested in talking amongst themselves tho.
